There's a Fox in the Powder Room!
When it comes to next-door-neighbors, we really hit the jackpot when we moved to Yellow Springs. Upon moving to Yellow Springs, we spent countless hours renovating and repairing our old 1850's farmhouse. Directly across the street, we watched a brand new house sprout up on a plot of land. It wasn't long before this sweet family on this parallel journey of "making their home" crossed the street and introduced themselves.
We immediately clicked with Margaret and Will and their two daughters became fast friends with our children. While we certainly spent time going in and out of one another's houses, we spent just as much time outside exploring nature. When Will proposed the idea of a nature inspired mural in their Powder room, I happily sprung into action.
There are hidden features within the mural that are special to the family, including a Fox and a ladybug (their daughter's requests.) The little mushroom is a nod to the culture of our funky little village. We love how this collaboration turned out!
